This is one of Eddie's favorites. I will be trying this recipe out tomorrow morning. It does taste much better in the special bowl! =)
[Thank you, Melissa, for emailing this to me!]
1 large can of sliced peaches with the juice
1 1/2 cups of Bisquick (not plain flour!!)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk (estimated amount...Nanny really didn't measure much)
1 stick of butter (Nanny's recipe calls for 1 stick. Melissa says it turns out great with 1/2 stick of butter - your choice.)
- Combine Bisquick, sugar and milk together in large glass bowl or rectangular Pyrex (Nanny always used a bowl but Melissa just did it in a rectangular dish and it still turned out fine). Batter should be a little thinner in consistency then pancake batter.
- Dump can of peaches w/ juice over batter DO NOT MIX PEACHES TOGETHER WITH BATTER .
- Cover the top with pats of butter
- Bake uncovered @350 for about an hour till the top is a bubbly golden brown...ENJOY!
