Teri's Death by Chocolate

This may sound rich, but it is sinfully deceptive!

Chocolate fudge cake mix

Chocolate fudge snack pack pudding (6 or 8 pack)

Whipped topping (Cool Whip)

Crumbled Heath bars (entire multi-pack)

  • Follow cake mix directions to bake cake.
  • Let the cake cool and then cut the cake into 1 to 2 inch pieces.
  • Layer the cake, pudding, whipped topping and crumbled Heath bars into thirds in a large bowl.

This is an awesome and very EASY recipe! Enjoy!

Nanny Mays' Peach Cobbler

This is one of Eddie's favorites. I will be trying this recipe out tomorrow morning. It does taste much better in the special bowl!  =)

[Thank you, Melissa, for emailing this to me!]

1 large can of sliced peaches with the juice
1 1/2 cups of Bisquick (not plain flour!!)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk (estimated amount...Nanny really didn't measure much)
1 stick of butter (Nanny's recipe calls for 1 stick. Melissa says it turns out great with 1/2 stick of butter - your choice.)

  • Combine Bisquick, sugar and milk together in large glass bowl or rectangular Pyrex (Nanny always used a bowl but Melissa just did it in a rectangular dish and it still turned out fine).  Batter should be a little thinner in consistency then pancake batter.
  • Dump can of peaches w/ juice over batter DO NOT MIX PEACHES TOGETHER WITH BATTER .
  • Cover the top with pats of butter
  • Bake uncovered @350 for about an hour till the top is a bubbly golden brown...ENJOY!
